Five Months Later

The day has finally arrived - we have upgraded from dial-up Internet to broadband. One of the many perks is I can blog from home. However, five months have gone by and too many events have occurred to go back and write about each one. So, I decided to post every picture of Brennan with her siblings. This allows you to see how much she has grown and to see a few of the things we have done.

Dinner at the park and a practice bike-riding session. Campbell is so close to riding her bike free of training wheels.
This made Campbell's day. It was such an honor to have Brennan fall asleep in her arms.

Brennan blew out her diaper at church while sitting in her car seat. The damage done to her car seat was so severe I couldn't fathom putting her back in it for the car ride home. So Brennan sat in Corbin's car seat, Corbin in Campbell's, Campbell in Ani's, and Ani ecstatically went without a booster seat.
Corbin is such a gentle little man when it comes to caring for his sister. Everyone else - WATCH OUT!
A fun day at the Boise Zoo.
Our second semi-annual 72-hour kit campout. We camped in the back yard this year. The kiddos are modeling the outfits packed in their backpacks. Overall they still fit.
Brennan loves to sit in her exersaucer. She is now old enough to interact with all the toys.
Do you see a resemblance? So beautiful!
Enjoying an afternoon of the "Sword in the Stone".
Ani and the little witch.
Brennan and her cousin Thaddeus on Thanksgiving Day. They started out in the play pin together, but they were more interested in each other than their toys so they had to be separated.
Two little princesses all ready for church.

Hells Canyon Vacation

This weekend we were able to escape the heat of the Treasure Valley and head to the heat of Hells Canyon! While we were at Hells Canyon Dam it rained and a nice breeze came through to provide a bit of relief (keep in mind I am eight months pregnant - I do not deal well with heat). I must admit it was beautiful up there!

Corbin got a little sick on our way up to visit Hells Canyon Dam. Poor guy!

The purpose and highlight of our vacation was fishing. Corbin thoroughly enjoyed the girls' successes.

Campbell's first catch - ever! She was ecstatic! It is hard to keep this little girl involved in one activity for more than thirty minutes, but she fished for hours.

Andison after her first day of fishing with dad. She caught two fish and dad caught two. By the end of the weekend Ani could cast, catch, and release her fish. I think I sense a new family hobby in the making.

Happy Birthday Ani!

My baby girl has reached the ripe old age of six! I can't believe it! What a blessing she is in my life! She is such a rock - her testimony surpasses mine in many ways! I LOVE YOU ANDISON!!

Last year we started taking our own birthday pictures instead of going to a portrait studio. Not only is it lots of fun it is a whole lot cheaper.

Some of Ani's recent accomplishments include:
Graduating from Kindergarten!

Being a phenomenal big sister!

Learning how to ride a bike without training wheels!

Easter Sunday

This is our second year having a sunrise devotional on Easter Morning. We read about our Savior's death and resurrection and bore our testimonies while we enjoyed the beautiful sunrise.

Thanks to Great-Grandma the kids were able to dress-up for the special occasion!

YMCA

The YMCA had a neat program over spring break where they gave swimming safety lessons for free. The girls loved it! We don't have a pass to the Y so they couldn't wait to go each day. However, the highlight was putting their swimsuit it the spinning machine that strained the water out of their suit. Jared went the last day and took the girls down the big slide and on the river.

Sledding

At the last minute we decided to take a quick drive up to the mountains to get in an afternoon of sledding. Corbin wouldn't have anything to do with it. I made him go down a couple of times with Jared thinking he would change his mind. But nope . . . he continued to say no, no, no, no if I even mentioned the idea. It took about ten minutes to get Campbell all bundled up and she lasted about ten minutes - silly girl. Ani had a blast. It still amazes me to see what a little daredevil she has become in her old age.

Guys and Dolls

The girls went to support Aunt Kamille in CHS' annual musical "Guys and Doll". Kamille was the pianist spending the evening in the pit so we could not see her, but we could hear her amazing talent. Campbell could only stay awake for about half of the musical and wanted to go home about five minutes into the performance. Ani loved it and wanted to go again the next night.
